Ciril Babnik

He lived in Ljubljana and was a member of the Bežigrad Tamburine Orchestra. Lojze Slak invited him to participate in the radio show Pokaži kaj znaš! (Show What You Know!), where they and Niko Zlobko performed as the Slak Trio group. Ciril Babnik played an old Slovenian string instrument, called - berda. In 1963, the first small record with songs: Okrogla polka, Na Otočecu, Domači vasici and Na večer, was recorded in a radio Studio 14 in Ljubljana by the group of Trio Lojzeta Slaka.
